07/31/05 ~~ I'm here in HONOLULU watching Flatliners at 12:42pm. Took some pictures yesterday when we went out to Bellows Air Force Base (at the beach.) Hope you like them!

2:01am ~~ I'm still up, packing for the big adventure. Just got off the phone with Doug. He says that he is really excited that I am going to be there in less than 48 hours. He is going to the store tomorrow to get me some of my favorites things for when I get there. Ya know, the usual: Fierce Grape Gatorade, grapes, apples, etc. And of course something has to happen. My Ipod stopped working yesterday. Doug says I need to replace the battery - which I won't be able to do until after I get to Hawaii ~ so it kinda defeats the purpose cause now what am I going to do on the 12 hour plane ride? I'm bringing my laptop to watch DVD's so I'll just have to keep charging it at the two stops. I will be leaving at 9:11am (early for me - I know - means I have to leave at 6:30am) and arriving in Hawaii at 7:46pm. Now, in case you weren't sure, Hawaii is 6 hours behind us. So, it will be 1:46am our time when I finally get there. I better hurry up and go to sleep tonight to get extra sleep cause you know my nerves will be going crazy and I'll be running around doing all of my last minute stuff and probably not even go to sleep. Well- I guess my next update will be in a few days after I get to Hawaii. I'll let you know how it is...
By the way - did I mention I'm gonna be so LOST there. That is right! Lost! I've been looking at maps of the area and I can't pronounce the names! My friend Rita and my Aunt were confident that it would be easy for me to learn the names - so I showed them the maps and asked them to pronounce the names - they looked at them and laughed! Thanks guys!! lol.

Updated Blog!!!

Ok, well, since I haven't been doing the best job of keeping this blog updated, I decided to erase all of my old "crap" and start again. If you don't know I am going to Hawaii next week for an "undetermined" amount of time. So, I've decided to use the opportunity to check in with my friends, family, and fellow bloggers and keep records of what happens while I'm in Hawaii and my new experiences. I will also have some picture posts to show where I've been and what I was doing. I leave July 27th, 2005. I'm kinda nervous. I'm a little worried about the flight, making sure I remember to bring everything I need, leaving my things behind that I'm not bringing, and what will happen when I get there. My nerves are crazy right now. I think I worry about things too much. Well, I know I worry about things too much. I'm gonna give myself ulcers one of these days! I'm watching Rocker-INXS right now.
